Enjoy Yoga in the Vines and keep those summer vibes going well into September.

While Traverse City is blessed with a few tremendous months of warm, sunny summer weather, those months sure do go by fast! With school coming up quick and the promise of fall colors on the horizon, there’s still plenty to look forward to. But don’t give up on summer yet! If you want to keep it going, there’s hope. Yoga In The Vines offers a relaxing, delicious taste of summer even in September.

In fact, the shorter days offer a unique opportunity. Even folks who have attended the event throughout the summer can get a new take on it! In September, it means that in the waning moments of the session, you’ll be treated to a beautiful sunset.

The wonderful views pair well with the evening’s events. Each session offers one hour of gentle yoga. This is a slow paced, mostly grounded practice with an emphasis on forgiving, stress-relieving poses. This is the perfect hour of activity after a long and arduous day. It’s appropriate for all abilities and all ages. Comfortable athletic clothing is suggested, but consider bringing a warm sweatshirt.

But it’s not just yoga. You’ll also enjoy guided, expert wine tasting. The menu features Bowers Harbor Vineyard’s finest offerings. Afterwards, stop by the beautiful tasting room to select the wines you loved, and learn more about the history of the vineyard, the peninsula, and the region as a whole! It’s also a great chance to catch up with your fellow yogis or make plans for dinner at nearby Jolly Pumpkin or Mission Table.

Make sure you book your spot for Yoga in the Vines here.  The final two dates of 2017 are Friday, September 8 and Friday, October 13.
